State of Virginia website certified as meeting highest standards for economic development websites

Development Results LLC is proud to announce that the State of Virginia's website (www.yesvirginia.org) has achieved the certification level of Gold in 2006. The certification is based on twenty different criteria grouped into seven separate categories, which include: Depth and quality of content, authenticity of place branding and messaging, clarity of navigation, use of search marketing approaches, use of email marketing and news sections, frequent performance tracking, and use of maps and GIS technology.

“A large percentage of all site selection research is done on the internet today. The State of Virginia's  website offers features that help position it as one of the leading economic development websites in the country.
