Corporate relocation slowing? Development Results reports website traffic and inquiry levels down market-wide from Q1 to Q3 2008.
Development Results, the only provider of benchmarked website analytics to the real estate and economic development industries, found that across the economic development websites it tracks throughout North America, overall site visits and inquiry levels fell from Q1 2008 to Q3 2008. Submissions through websites for information also dropped during the same time period.
Anecdotally, many economic developers report slower prospect activity, though some, including Mesa Del Sol in Albuquerque and the Omaha region in Nebraska have both experienced very strong deal flow in 2008.
